What is the Optimistic BA Up to Now?

What is the Optimistic BA going to be doing for the rest of 2021? I am still fussing with the cellulitis in my left leg. The swelling looks better, but those two wounds are talking back. As for speaking, I am speaking to the San Diego IIBA Chapter about Soft Skills on November 16th at 6:00 PM PST. The registration link is not posted yet, but I will share it when it is. I have trips planned in early December to Chicago and mid-December to Toronto, in-person events for PMBA. With COVID, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

This Monday is the IIBA Awards Virtual Presentation which is the pinnacle of our year. This year we are using Zoom Meetings, and that will allow it to be more interactive. I always enjoy it, but I don’t think my third career will be broadcasting! I need to finish writing the packages I will be selling on my website. Team Biaka is working on finishing the last part of my website.

I have a show idea for LinkedIn Live and need to work on the courses I will be teaching for Your Clear Next Step starting in January. I need to submit abstracts for the conferences that are open for submission. Some are in-person, and another is virtual. There is also everything I do for IIBA as the GCC Chair, and I need to continue blogging. I think you get the idea that I am a bit busy. I wouldn’t have it any other way because I am pursuing my passions. The number one priority I have is to fit into any pair of my shoes. I did buy a pair of crocs in two sizes larger. They are bright orange, and many of you know why they are that color. Until the next time, keep your glass at least half full.
