What Have You Learned During the Year of COVID?
Everyone’s experience has been different. I had retired right before COVID, so I didn’t really have a “normal” routine as I was starting my business. I do enjoy staying at home for long periods of time. I needed to spend time building my business. COVID did cause me to pivot some parts of that. I did end up not taking the trips I had planned. I also was not able to spend time with many of my local friends who are retired.
I have numerous boxes and files that I need to sort through. I have completed some of that, but I should have focused on that more in the first few months. That is something that will get finished eventually. I still enjoy being at home, but now I want to travel. I also miss my BA friends in other areas more than I imagined. We have virtual happy hours and, at times, talk. I have formed deeper friendships as a result. Here is a link to an article I had written about COVID in August: http://ecceconferences.org/business/the-best-thing-about-covid.htm.
Please comment on LinkedIn or Facebook about what did you learn doing COVID. I want my blogs to make all of you think and have them be interactive. Thanks to all of you who responded to my story of being hacked last week. I have got about 75% of the work finished, but I am still behind on a few other things.
Several of you have reached out and wanted me to share more information, such as a Cybersecurity blog. I have an idea, and I am working on it. I can share my story, but I want to take it a step further. Stay tuned, and I should have an announcement real soon. Until next time, please keep your glass at least half full!
