Monday Articles Mix
I used to be a voracious reader. In the last few years, I have not read very many books. My favorites books are Business Analysis, Leadership, Sports Figures, Autobiographies, and anything about the Nebraska Cornhuskers. As any blogger will confirm, some days you don’t know what to write about, and today is one of those days. I have picked two articles that I have read and thought they were good. I will publish links to those articles, and I will say a few words about them.
The first article comes from one of my BA Buddies from South Africa. Joe Newbert is the Chief Training Officer at the Business Change Academy. He recently posted a great article about Business Analysis Techniques. His list has 185 techniques which he refers to as the complete list. Other technique lists have various numbers listed, but there is one thing most of the BAs I know agree on. As we perform our daily work, we regularly use about Four to Six techniques. Joe is a great Business Analysis Practioner, so if you need to take any Business Analysis classes, check out the Business Change Academy. The next article comes from a website called Leadership First. I highly recommend following this website on LinkedIn. In this article, they talk about your inner circle, which I consider my inner circle to be priceless. There is also a quote from Warren Buffett known as “The Oracle of Omaha.” I am very proud to be from the same city as Warren Buffett. His quote is about surrounding yourself with people who push you to do better. I am blessed that my inner circle and other people do this for me daily. Link: Inner Circle
I hope you enjoyed both of these articles today. I also wish all of you an awesome week. Until next time, please keep your glass at least half full.
