Where do I want to travel post COVID?

As someone who is speaking as part of my business, that is a big question. My initial answer is anywhere they want to hear me speak. Since my husband works for a large hotel chain, travel has been a large part of our lives. One of the plans we had for this year was a trip to Hawaii for our 30th wedding anniversary. We will visit the Big Island since that is the only one we have not seen. We will also visit Oahu as I have some BA buddies there.

Our original plan was in August 2021, so it is not totally off the table. I still need to take the retirement trip I had planned for 2020. I have not planned that 100%, but it will involve something with a close friend. My husband had a trip planned to celebrate my retirement also in 2020. His dream is to take an Alaskan cruise, and that is not my dream. He had made plans but had to cancel them. That trip is put off until 2022.

We both have airline vouchers that will need to be used eventually. I want to drive to Des Moines, IA, or Kansas City, Mo, to see BA buddies. If I can travel to speak somewhere in the fall or winter of 2021, I will be happy. One thing I know for sure since I listen to my husband, who works from home, people are traveling in the United States for sure.

My long term bucket list is to go to Ireland, Scotland, Italy, and maybe the UK. I have a group of UK LinkedIn followers and many BA buddies. I also want to attend many marquee sporting events such as Super Bowl, World Series, etc. I need to start writing that #1 Best Selling book to fund all these decades of travel.

Now the big stuff- my trivia question once again was not too good. The object that was the idea behind the Judymoji was (insert drum roll) the Easter Egg! I will now stick to subjects that appeared in my 31 Days of Blogging in December. This week’s question: What is my favorite sport that I can participate in?

The Valentine Judy Moji’s are here, and I will do a special Friday post tomorrow for their reveal. I will share the trivia answer on Tuesday at Noon Central Time. Remember to leave your guess on the Optimistic BA page on LinkedIn or Facebook. Until next time, please keep your glass at least half full.
