Last Week
Happy Monday! It is a brand new week that we need to seize! I know I have not blogged since last Monday. No excuse except sometimes life happens. I had to take Terry for a routine medical procedure, which turned out great. Of course, his appointment time coincided with a snowstorm that had 50-mile hour winds and low visibility. It wasn’t as bad as a worse snowstorm we had the week before.
Due to COVID, I could only drop him off and pick him up, which was great for me. I went to a great restaurant and enjoyed a leisurely (and quiet) breakfast. I picked him up by 8:30 am, and we were on our way home. We had to stop to pick up something at a convenience store. I go in to get the two small items.
On my way in, I trip on the curb and the ice; in true Judy fashion, I go flying up and slammed down. I try to get up, but my feet are on the ice, which was not good. My rear was on the clear ground, so I rolled over, so my entire body was off the ice. My positional vertigo kicked in, so Terry and some boy in the car next to us come to get me up.
Nothing was broken, but I have an awesome bruise on my one knee. My clothes were filthy and wet, but they did come clean. For my close friends, this is another segment of what a klutz I can be. I really dislike ice, and I was careful, but sometimes stuff happens. Feel free to laugh because I did.
I had a few other things come up on Thursday and no blog. I have resolved to start writing them ahead of time, so I stick to my schedule. Anyway, here is what I hope is an easier trivia question. What is the object that defined the shape of the Judymoji? Please comment on The Optimistic BA Page on Facebook or LinkedIn. I will announce the winner on Thursday, February 11th, at Noon Central time. My blog on Thursday is What Does The Optimistic BA have planned after COVID? Until next time, please keep your glass at least half full.
