Mentoring Mondays
If you follow my blog, you know I got hacked about 6 weeks ago. When I posted about it, I had several people, including younger BA’s, ask me about Cybersecurity, but I am not an expert. I will be starting a program called Mentoring Mondays, and the first one will be held on Monday, May 26th, at 12:00 PM CDT.
The first one will feature Cybersecurity, and I am excited to announce the speaker is Terry Baresh. He has been working in security spaces for over 20 years. He is from Minneapolis and has been an active volunteer in the IIBA MSP chapter. Terry has also been active with IIBA Global and co-authored the Certificate in Cybersecurity Analysis (IIBA®- CCA) exam.
Terry is a Principal Business Analyst consulting with strategy leaders, enterprise architects, system engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and business leaders to design and build or modernize cybersecurity programs. I will also share my hacking incident at a high level and advise on how to prevent that from happening to you.
We plan to make this a fun interactive session and allow plenty of time for questions. Bring your coffee or lunch and spend an hour with us. I plan to hold these sessions every other Monday, and we will see where this leads us. The event is free, but you do need to register. When you click on the Registration Link, you will receive a prefilled form to submit. After you submit that form, you will receive the Zoom link for the event in your email.
