Thirty-One Days of Blogging - Day 26
Christmas was a great day but just a bit different this year. Now onto 2021, I am in a LinkedIn group where we need to pick a word to discern how we will live our best for 2021. I had been bouncing around with about 4 or 5 words, and last night it came to me. My 2021 word is Leader, and that is something people have thought I was good at. I want to take it to a new level in 2021.
I thought of the words that one of my close friends had written in a testimonial on my website. “I have witnessed many instances of Judy being a great observer and listener; she picks up on the smallest things and then, with the calmest demeanor, offers support/advice. She is the most optimistic person I have had the pleasure of working with and, most importantly, calling a friend. Anyone who meets Judy will most likely have a similar experience. She is a natural leader and elevates everyone around her. Judy, thank you for simply ‘being you’ and sharing your passion.”
I have enjoyed leadership, and being involved in IIBA has allowed me to fine-tune and elevate my leadership skills. I still do this as the IIBA Global Chapter Council Chair. To take my business to the next level, I need to elevate myself as a CEO/Owner. I have other plans for my business in 2021, but that is a topic for another day. Tomorrow, I start with my Top Ten accomplishments of 2020. I will reveal nine and ten tomorrow and follow up with two each day. That means I will reveal one and two on New Year’s Eve. Until tomorrow, keep your glass at least half full.
