The Human Aspect of the BA Toolkit

I am pleased to announce Two Virtual classes I am offering in conjunction with Your Clear Next Step, LLC. The first class is an improved version of Introduction to The Human Aspect of the BA Toolkit. Part of the content is the same, but there will be live exercises to provide hands-on opportunities with all the sessions. The hands-on experience provides a better understanding of the skills being taught. This course is targeted at the beginning or newer Business Analysts. One of the essential skills that BAs need is to know how to work with people. This course will help a BA to start their career with a grasp on the human skills needed. 

The second class is the new Mastering The Human Aspect of the BA Toolkit. This class is targeted at Intermediate and Senior Business Analysts who want to learn advanced communication, next-level elicitation techniques, advanced methods of managing stakeholder relationships, and additional topics. The hands-on experience provides a better understanding of the skills being taught. This will help intermediate BAs to improve their careers and to advance to a Senior BA. The class will help Senior BAs to refresh their skills and obtain new ones to help make them even better at their careers. 

Soft skills represent about 85% of what a Business Analyst does in their work. The other core skills they use are necessary. Still, if a person can’t handle stakeholders, customers, or any other person during elicitation or collaboration sessions, they won’t succeed as a Business Analyst.
